Your Home
As a resident in North Solihull here is where you can check up on your rights, meet the homemaker team and find more information on the new home schemes in North Solihull.
The most important thing to remember is that, if you do need to move home as part of the regeneration plans, a member of our Home Maker team will visit you individually in your home and explain everything to you, including the financial help we can offer you.
Residents' Charter
Download the latest version of out Residents' Charter. It sets out the rights of residents in North Solihull and gives you our promises if your home is affected by regeneration.
Home Maker Team
The Home-Maker team specifically works with residents whose homes have been identified to be demolished. We only know which homes need to be demolished after we have fully consulted you about plans for your area and agreed a timetable for the changes (called a Phasing Plan, see glossary).
New Housing
Currently there are five new housing sites built or being built by Bellway Homes (one of the Regenerating North Solihull partners). These sites are: Alcott Grove Located on Winchester Drive in Chelmsley Wood. This site has already sold out, with most of the properties bought by local people.
Resident's Implementation Groups
When we talk about regeneration we often talk about the physical changes that are happening on North Solihull. Things like new schools, new homes, improved parks, but sitting at the heart of Regenerating North Solihull are the residents who live and breathe the changes that are taking place.
Design Code
With so many aspects of the project needing to be worked up at the same time, we brought all of the design and development consultants together to share ideas and formulate a Design Code.
