The Centres

Kingshurst Village Centre

  We will begin consulting with you in 2010 about redeveloping Kingshurst Parade and hope to start construction of a brand new village centre the following year or year after.

Bacon's End Village Centre

Designs for this Village Centre will be created once the plans for the developments on the River Cole Valley are finalised. We will start working on the plans from 2014, which will include plans for the new Primary School.

North Arran Way Village Centre

The North Arran Way Village Centre will be situated in the heart of Smiths Wood.   The new Village Centre will include a new primary school, community facilities, a new high street with high quality public realm, a new retail parade which will encompass a mix of services, residential properties, enterprise space and health care facilities.

Craig Croft Village Centre

The £40million Craig Croft scheme is expected to be the largest of the five village centres, Craig Croft will contain a new primary school, Community facilities, health care, retail and an enterprise centre.

Bosworth Drive Village Centre

We talked to local residents about Bosworth Drive Village Centre, as part of the South Area Strategy consultation in October 2006. We will get in contact with local residents, parents and children when we start these plans.
