The Socio Economic Workstream (SEWS) is one of the groups which supports the delivery of the North Solihull regeneration project. The SEWS focuses on how to deliver Social and Economic improvements across the North Solihull regeneration area.
Smith's Wood Village Centre took another bold step forward as work began on its latest multi-million pound development of brand new shops and offices, which join the housing, school buildings and public realm improvements already completed as part of the area's regeneration programme.
Following a lively consultation and vote for a name for their new village centre local residents in the Craig Croft area have made their opinions known and Solihull Council and the North Solihull Partnership can today announce that the name chosen is Chelmund's Cross Village Centre.
£4m Funding to Support Solihull Council & North Solihull Partnership's Smith's Wood Village Centre Development
Solihull Council, together with North Solihull Partnership is pleased to announce further progress within the Smith's Wood Village Centre development. Residents in Smith's Wood will now be able to see their new community and shopping facilities being constructed at the heart of the new high street.
