How to use this site
Regenerating North Solihull is a 15-year project to transform the three wards of Chelmsley Wood, Smith's Wood and Kingshurst and Fordbridge. The purpose of the site is to provide residents with help and information about the project. The information in this section will guide you on getting the most from the site.
How can I look at the documents on the site?
Most of the documents on the site are PDF (Portable Document Format) documents. In order to view the pdf documents, you will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. Please click here if you would like to install Adobe Acrobat Reader.
You can download (transfer files to your computer to read and keep) pdf's simply by double clicking on them and selecting a folder or location on your computer to save them to. If you then click on these files they will automatically open using Acrobat Reader and you can adjust the size at which you wish to view them.
How do I change the text size?
The text size on our website can be altered by using your internet browser software. The process to change the text size is different depending on which browser you are using.
For instance, if you are using Internet Explorer: From the menu at the top of the screen, select 'View' then 'Text Size' and then the font size you require.
If you are using Firefox: From the menu at top of the screen, select 'View' then 'Text Zoom' then the font size you require.
At the top right of every page you will notice a search box to help you find the information you are looking for on this site. Enter one or more words into the box and click on the 'search' button which will bring up a list of pages related to the word/s you have searched for.
Navigating the website
The seven tabs on the homepage will remain at the top on all pages on this website, so navigating the site is simple. At any time you can see which path you have taken to get to the page you are currently viewing by looking at the top of the page. There you will see a line of text starting 'You are here' followed by a series of page names, which show in order how you would move from the home page to your current page. You can click on any of the page names in this string to move back to that page.
