St Anne's Catholic School

What is happening?

Solihull Council and the Archdiocese of Birmingham have consulted parents and local people about joint linked proposals to close St Patrick's Catholic school and expand St Anne's Catholic School.  St Anne's will then be rebuilt as part of the regeneration programme, meaning that local children can still receive a Catholic education and benefit from a brand-new school.

When it will happen?

St Patrick's closed at the end of August 2008 and St Anne's expanded from September 2008.  The new school building for St Anne's will be ready by early 2010.  The existing St Patrick's school will be demolished later in 2009 and the site will be used for a relocated Bishop Wilson School.
