Whitlock Way (CC1,2&4)

This development is located in Carisbrooke Avenue.

Consultation with local residents and stakeholders was carried out on our detailed design for this area in August 2006 alongside initial ideas for Craig Croft Village Centre.

Following this consultation a planning application was submitted and approval was given in July 2007 to build 48 Houses.  Click here to go to Planning Services and type in Ref. 2007/643 to view the approved site plan and associated documents.  

However, changes to the layout of Craig Village Centre meant that the site layout for this development needed to change and a new planning application was required.

Therefore the development was split into two phases:

A new planning application for CC 1 & 2 was submitted and approval was given in January 2009 to build 26 Houses for rent.  Click here to go to Planning Services and type in Ref. 2008/2135 to view the amended plan.

Consultation with local residents and stakeholders was carried out on the amended design for CC4 in September 2009.  Following this consultation a planning application was submitted and approval was given in November 2009 to build 20 Houses and Flats for rent.  Click here to go to Planning Services and type in Ref. 2009/1453 to view the amended plan.

Construction work was completed on this site in 2010, and all the properties are now occupied.
