The Three Trees Centre in Chelmund’s Cross has recently finished its latest refurbishment work.
The refurbishment has given the centre some fantastic new meeting rooms with bright spacious interiors and easy access to the outside of the centre.
Work on the new £3m Chelmund’s Cross Health Centre is well underway.
The health centre will be the new location for the existing Chelmund’s Cross GP surgery, alongside a brand new pharmacy and home to the local dentist’s surgery. The dentist’s old building will be demolished to make way for the last element of the village centre which is hoped to be an assisted living/residential scheme.
A former Mayor of Solihull has been immortalised in the North of the borough with a new road being named in honour of him.
For over 50 years Eric Collins served the West Midlands as a public servant after starting his political career shortly after the war in 1947.
